Point D Media, LLC is looking for a brand design to include logo (color and B&W versions), letterhead, brand guide book, Internet landing page, social media kit, email signature block, stickers, etc... You must not necessarily provide all items to win. The decision will be made on Logo primarily.

In addition to the prize for this contest I have set aside a healthy tip in the event of a truly exceptional design.

The company is a digital media company to be launching a YouTube based travel channel next year. The company and idea was inspired by the Douglas Adams book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and the number 42, so knowledge of this series could potentially give you an advantage. No direct use of quotes, etc... from this series - only use it for inspiration. I repeat - THIS IT NOT FOR THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE. THIS IS FOR "Point D Media, LLC" AND ALL ENTRIES SHOULD REFLECT THAT. The reference is for inspiration only.

Brand should be sleek and minimal. One potential Idea for the logo is a circle with a path in it and a person at the beginning of the path looking into the distance with a towel slung over their back. I am not tied to this idea, and encourage unique and inspired designs that truly demonstrate your talent. In fact, I do not know exactly what I am looking for, but I hope I will know it when I see it.

Bonus points if you can help me come up with a name for an initial series of videos - preferably with a towel-based reference.

Thank you all. I will select a winner from the top 6 entries over the weekend. If your design does not have 4 stars then it is not in the top 6. While the vast majority of the entries didn't show any real creativity and looked like they came out of a simple online logo generator, there were many clever entries that showed effort but were not what I was looking for. I thank you for trying, and wish you better luck on your next efforts.

Also, the company will often be referred to simply as "Point D" or "Point D Media". Do not feel you must include "LLC" in the logo.

Logo designs should imply travel as a primary focus, and may include media as a secondary focus. The design should reflect the business. Ideas that are too much like stock logos will be rejected out of hand. Do not focus just on the name of the business. Thanks!
