logo&label

upper circle logo options ( 2 monogram ideas); the label doesn't have the 2x3 proportions, it's more 1x2, but it wouldn't be a problem to redo the proportions.

    Ana,
See below for LOGO comments. This is for the LABEL:

We are farther off target here. While the logo artwork is very serious, clean and slick, the label is somewhat light-hearted. The airplane is modern, not art deco, the slogan font is too casual, etc.

Also, for the label, 'Principle Cigars' is less important and 'Aviator Series' is more important.

This is far enough away that rather than give you direction on it I'd rather you take a fresh crack at it from a new perspective. The aviation imagery for the label is the most important part, so please make sure that whatever you use is prominent, sticks with the style (in your case 30s art deco), is serious rather than playful, and has a real cool factor.

Any questions or if you want to run random images by me to see what I like and save time please do.

    Thanks!
    Darren

    Ana,

Thank you for these revisions. I will respond separately about the logo/label.

    LOGO:
I like the circle part in 1/3.

For the text, 1 might be stronger/cleaner, but there is something nice about the large letters in 3. Too bad it raises the top horizontal bar. What do you think, maybe there is a way around it?

Also, have thought about taking the bottom part of the 's' at the end of 'cigars' and making it connect and become the white line that underlines the word? Might look silly, but just a thought.

I want this design to work but I still _need_ to see some aviation element in this image. Something simple to make me think of early flight. I need to give people something in the logo other than text. A slick profile of a propeller somewhere, airplane windows, rivits, wings, something. I don't want to give you too much direction, just please try to maintain the seriousness and cool factor of the logo. Nothing whimsical.

    Thanks!
    Darren
