  One thing we were thinking about tonight is if there were a representation of the FIA curbing found on racetracks in the design or if the sine wave transformed into a recognizable track. This might make it too complex or cluttered, but I think if it was done right, the logo would be easily associated with an automotive performance company and that's what we would like. I think you're on the right track with this design, and I look forward to seeing some more. Thanks!

  I like the way this design shows a progression or movement, as if it's going somewhere. The larger text stands out very well, but in contrast the smaller text seems a little hidden and not immediately noticeable. I like your take on the sine wave because it shows both axis of the wave, horizontal and vertical. The red and black is good too because people tend to associate speed or fast cars with red such as Ferrari.
