Hi guys!

I need the following:

1.Logo

2.Stationary set including:
- Email signature design
- Business card (55mmx85mm horizontal)
- Letterhead
- Compliments slip
-Envelope
(headed paper and business card also in a ready-to-print format)

This logo will eventually be used for:
• Website
• Printed marketing materials
• Newspaper advertising
• Branding Apparel

I need a logo for a new brand: “European Criminal Records Information Services”
The logo should consist of the abbreviation in upper case (ECRIS, with and without ".eu")

The extended name of the company does not need to constitute the logo as there is just too much text to be crammed in little space. However I would appreciate a creative idea of combining these two - logo and the full name.

The only business of the company is providing criminal records checks on individuals to prospect employers, landlords etc. Please include that, but be subtle. I would not like to logo to be too obvious. It needs to keep elegant and professional look.

To be considered:
Emphasis on the text (no icon required)
Modest, simple, minimalistic yet creative and unique,
Modern
Professional
No more than 2 colors (unless your prove me wrong)
Colour preferences blue and black or blue and grey

Please take into account the main company values to be underlined in the whole marketing are:
legal compliance
authenticity of information obtained from officially available public records
easy service
And maybe what’s more important and worth emphasizing is the competitive edge thanks to the fact the company is highly specialized as it is a single product brand.

All of the above is a general direction you should take and I hope to see your creative input.

I need the following formats:
one on bright and one on dark background.
All of the above with and without the domain extension “.eu” following “ECRIS” (in lower caps)
Monochrome and color versions of the above.

Please provide the following file formats JPEG, PNG (transparent background), GIF, CDR, PDF, AI, IDD, PSD
Provide all the fonts and color codes used in the design.
Disclaim any rights to the design.

Please note ECRIS is an abbreviation of a longer name, therefore all letters should be "equal", no need to exagerate with emphasizing the starting letter.

A simple plain presentation of the logo on a white background will do. No need to multiply logo images on various backgrounds, glasses and with other special effects.

It would be great if you dropped the "E" icon idea and show some creative ideas just with "ECRIS" alone. Maybe I shouldn't have given such a detailed description and leave more space for your creativity. But if I were to suggest anything - this is a logo for a company that provides criminal records checks on job applicants based on which employers will make hiring decisions either way. I give them information if it is safe / OK / compliant to hire a given person or not. I do not see that in current ideas apart from the police badge, which I do believe fits here.
