I need two basic designs and several variations of each.
1. SUP El Camino Real award plaque (use file SUP CUP 2016 Shirt)
- Remove the text from the logo
- add "SUP El Camino Real" above the logo
- add the year 2017 underneath the logo
- add "1st Place" under the year
- list category under "1st Place"
(Categories include: Men's 14', Men's 12.6', Women's 14', Women's 12.6, Men's Surf Style, Women's Surf Style, Under 17, Men's Over 50, Women's Over 50)

2. Colorado River 100 award plaque (use file CR100 2016)
- Separate the text from the logo
- move the text above the logo
- add the year 2017 underneath the logo
- add "1st Place" under the year
- list category under "1st Place"
(Categories include: Solo Unlimited Male, Solo Unlimited Female, Tandem Unlimited Male, Tandem Unlimited Female, Tandem Unlimited Mixed, Aluminum, C-1 Male, C-1 Female, C-2 Male, C-2 Female, C-2 Mixed, Solo Male Adventure Class, Solo Female Adventure Class, Tandem Male Adventure Class, Tandem Female Adventure Class, Tandem Mixed Adventure Class)

For the sake of the contest just pick one category from each race to submit.
Feel free to use creative discretion in your design. For example if you want to remove the circles on the logo or alter the paddlers to look better.
Finally, keep in mind these designs are going to be etched into a wood plank by a cnc machine. So it needs to be a simple black and white design. The planks will be 12-18 inches tall and 10-12 inches wide.

“I had over 200 entries for my contest. I rated the first 20 so designers could see a better idea of what I was looking for. After that a lot of designers simply copied what my topped ranked entries looked like. This designer however took it to the next level and really delivered a unique design that met the standards I was looking for with a very creative personal touch (which I had asked for in the original contest). I even hired him to do a second project immediately. ”
