Contest Brief

We are an established team in Germany, been around 30 years now. We are at a point where situation dictates we change our team nickname.

At the present time we are the Bamberg Bears.
We were thinking of the following alternatives.

Bamberg Saints - Our city has a lot of religious history, being the only city north of the Alps to be the residence and burial site of a Pope, among many other factors. We envisioned something like a Broadsword with a Halo and some cool looking text.

Bamberg Riders - One of the most famous landmarks in our city is a statue known as the Bamberg Rider. We thought to incorporate this into our design.

Bamberg United - We thought of this because two teams will be coming as one.

I can provide more information but I am looking for some nice designs to represent our club for many years to come. Thank you

Hi,Im interested in this contest...I have some questions...do you want logo to look agresive like logos from nfl? Can I send sketches for all 3 options or you have a favorite between saints,riders and united?Also can you attach examples of logos you are fan of as a guidance ,since this is a contest and I (or anyone else) dont want to waste time on designing something that will be eliminated as soon is posted :) Please respond on my entry so I can start working on it... regards
