We need a Logo and theme for a new startup non-profit volunteer entity called:

"Australian Justice of the Peace Association". (www.ajpa.com.au)

Please consider the history and tradition of a 'Justice of the Peace' when designing the logo. (REF : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justice_of_the_Peace )
Every design submitted will be considered and judged by the Board of Directors, however, to be sucessful, consideration will be given to the logo/theme package which caters to incorporate feeling of legal, authority, herirtage, culture, history, colour, but with modern, sleek sharp flexible character.
We do not wish to be bound by traditional concepts of / scales / crest / quill / gabble / but preference will be given to logo's that hint to these traditions.
Any work submitted must be orginal works of art, and any copyright granted to the AJPA.
Future web development work (*significant ammount required in time!!! ) may be invited from the top 10 submission for best logo and Joomla template theme. The logo should be in illustrator format.
