Contest Brief

I will be creating a 2.5 foot by 8 foot banner. I will be purchasing this banner from VistaPrint here: http://www.vistaprint.com/custom-banners.aspx

Final product will be a file delivery in one of the two file formats below:
* Adobe Acrobat 9 Document (*.pdf)
* Adobe Illustrator CS3 Artwork (*.ai)

Wording must say "Everything you love about Brushy Creek Trail is about to be destroyed", plus "SaveBrushyCreekTrail.com".

Project priorities, in order:
1) Banner must be EASY to read quickly. I want to grab the attention of runners on the trail who may only be looking at the sign for 3-4 seconds.
2) Banner must convey a sense of urgency and destruction - without being violent. [NOT peaceful, calm, etc. And NOT overly violent - explicit blood, weapons, etc.]
3) Banner design should remain somewhat uncluttered. I don't want design elements to detract from the text and message.

Hi All, Large text and readability of the banner is more important than aesthetic design elements. Everything on the banner, especially the website, MUST be easy to read from a distance.

I've rejected submissions that would not be easy to read.
