There will be 2 sides:
1. the shop' side where the owner will upload their items and prices.
2. The user' side where the user will search several items and will see the list.
Each items will have several "qualities" such as price, quality (rated from the user) etc.

I recommand you Joomla and Virtuemart extention for shopping card: sample here: http://demo.virtuemart.net/ and for products comparison can use something like: http://virtuext.com/joomla25/virtuemart.

  The tool is nice but I need a search box or a list. Then, for the same product, the site will show different suppliers
