  I think winner is picked on the bases of region where they get more audiance and user for freelancer , there are 10s of other better videos in this compititon . No offense to prize holder Gain Mawo , but compition holder first increases the deadline , then increases the ad time , all during the computitons then ask few to re edit their Ads where others can't get such option , very poor and biased Managment.

     To be fair... increasing the deadline and the prize amount are good things aren't they? I don't remember them increasing the ad time, it was always 30 to 120 seconds as far as I know. As for being biased... I don't think it's possible to have a contest without being biased! If there's more entries than there are prizes, then some are going to win and some are going to lose... and it makes sense that you'd be biased towards the ones you like and not the ones you don't.
     I'm not saying this contest has been perfect, the communication could have been a lot better, but I think it was pretty successful. Just my dos centimos.

  CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR FINAL WINNER GIAN MAWO FROM THE PHILIPPINES WHO TOOK HOME THE FINAL US$20,000 PRIZE.
  
  The Second Place spot was shared by BT Studios and KellenMoore who both produced entertaining and professional videos. Coming in at Third Place was the emotive TV ad produced by Lancerdrake.
  
  I am sure everyone will agree that all of the entries, in particular the top 8, are of exceptional quality, well acted and directed and really promote our online community, Freelancer.com.

     So the comments about a video with 4 stars receiving a most memorable prize were taken back and instead changed to 2nd and 3rd place? The brief still says that a most memorable will be awarded a prize.

     Oh, I thought it was all over so I removed my video. Comp is listed as 'CLOSED'.
     #29 was a 4 star but had 501 likes so could have been a most memorable contender... 100 more than the 2nd most liked.

  As this competition dragged on, I suspected that the folks at Freelancer were starting to regret creating this competition, for obvious reasons like having to make hard decisions and claiming video rights. BUT, right now, I am overjoyed that this is over. We all can move on!
  I am happy with the rating I received for my entry, and I quit hoping for more months ago. Nevertheless, I checked-in on this competition at least four times a week and enjoyed perusing all other entries and the wide range of opinions people from all over the world had to offer. T’was a thrilling experience! It is true that some people were being unrealistic at times, but I am certain that no one will complain about Freelancer’s decision, for it was theirs to make, and all zealots should have realized this by now.

  Hmmm... My faves are in the top 4 except the #547 ... #550 should not be there since it's not quirky and fun as what the freelancer.com asked before...lol
  
  well, here are my top 4 ...
  (1st or 2nd) #552 (looks original and creatively done) and #557(it looks more funny than before so I'm really wondering why it did not make it)
  (3rd) #549 (although the original deerman is more funny and memorable than the new version)
  (4th) #548 ( the humor is still there)
