Contest Brief

Design the exterior of a box/package for a fragrance notes kit (used for making colognes & perfumes). The box should be around 12 inches squared and have a height of 2 inches.

I would like a minimalist, dark, luxury and old world charm design. All (realistic) materials are welcome into this design and adding some minor unique elements is encouraged (wood, metal, glass, wax, paper, holograph, reflective, gold leaf, etc). The idea is to create a design one might associate with a speakeasy or high end liquor or men's luxury modern wrist watch. The product name is "Artisan Scent Kit" and the tag line is "100 High Grade Fragrance Notes. An Essential Collection for the Discerning Perfumer". Any, all or none of this text can be used as part of the product design.

The attached image contains various packaging designs that I would like to emulate for this project.
