We are looking for talented artists to work full time with us on children's app books. This contest is to help us find the right style of animators. Guaranteed pay for chosen sample designs The characters designed will be required for digital book illustrations. I am going to give a FEW ideas here as to what we are looking for so feel free to apply to any of these you like. Full colour with no background artwork please.

CRITERIA:
Audience: Children aged 2-7
Artwork style: Friendly cartoon style and still full of rich detail but not too photo-realistic
canvas size requirements: samples can be exported as animated gifs or apng files in lower resolution, but the final artwork has to be individual .png files that are transparent and on a canvas of 2048 x 1536 at 15 frames per second).
Reference characters: Please base animations on characters found in dino1.jpg, dino2.jpg dino3.jpg
Length of animation: 2-5 seconds long

OPTION 1: Dino and boy are walking. boy is holding lantern in hand and it swings slightly left to right. Single walk cycle that can be repeated.

OPTION 2: dino is cowered behind a tree (still fully exposed) on left side of screen slightly in background and boy is staring into a hole in a cave on right side of screen. Boy jumps back startled from something that pops out of a hold in a tree in the foreground. Dino squirms tighter, boy jumps back a step in and is startled.

OPTION 3: Bird sits on dino's head and jumps off, and flies off screen to the right, only to appear from left a second later.

THOSE WHO ARE CHOSEN WILL GET PAID AWARD AMOUNT SHOWN IN CONTEST. MULTIPLE WINNERS WILL BE CHOSEN SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BID FOR AS MANY TIMES AND DESIGNS AND OPTIONS AS YOU WISH. EACH CHOSEN ENTRY WILL BE PAID FULL AMOUNT OF CONTEST. Winners chosen will be given the opportunity to come work with us full time for the same pay per animation on an ongoing basis. There are hundreds of animations spanning 10+ different characters and 50+ books over the next 2 years.

All future work WILL be done through freelancer site. Please do NOT inquire for off-site work contracts.
