Contest Brief
Company Background:
ELSI is a a consulting engineering company that specializes in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry. Our core area of expertise is working to assist clients in developing innovative and cost saving solutions to improve their processes and services.
The fundamental ELSI philosophy is to facilitate an environment that is creative and innovative but is grounded and balanced with the objective of providing value that improves the economic wellbeing of our clients. We do this by working with them to identify, nurture, and develop innovative solutions that complement the existing strengths of their company resulting in a competitive advantage.
ELSI services can be tailored to organize, expand, develop, and implement their company’s innovative potential. Often times the innovative solutions already exist but before ELSI the cost (time and money) for successful implementation has been out of reach.
Current Need:
Creation of a visually attractive and informative brochure for potential clients that provides them with eye catching statistics or information that quick informs readers that the AEC industry is rapidly changing (much of this change is being driven by adoption of various technologies), how this change can result in new short term and long term problems or opportunities for their company, and how ELSI can provide innovative solutions that save time, money, and create value for their clients.
Target Audience:
ELSI's target market is small to medium size Architecture, Engineering, and Construction companies that have process or service problems, but lacks either time, personnel, or the expertise to solve their problems. Specifically, the brochure should be designed to target "decision makers" (owner of company or top corporate "C" level company leadership) by using concise yet informative information that is attractive to a very busy person.
Goal of Brochure:
ELSI's intent is to use digital and paper versions of the brochure for marketing to initially engage and inform decision makers of small to medium sized AEC companies about how the industry is changing, and why they should consider using ELSI. The desired result is that the brochure leads to the targeted decision makers being open to learning more about ELSI and considering using ELSI services to help their company.
