Need a design for a client building a new personal finance blog. We' want a graphic with a woman with cash in a cartoon or caricature-type style.

I like this style. Looks fresh.

We'd like to use a pose like this link. Going for a professional, but approachable look.

We'd like the picture to look more like the blogger, though the key is the woman with cash in both hands:

The illustration will be used in a blog header as well as social media avatars. We'd like to be able to add different background colors so please design without the BG. Hex colors used in the blog will likely be a combo of green/blue (34887ff and 009488ff) with grey and neutrals (4a4141ff and f7f1e3ff) or similar. Those do not need to be in the illustration, just giving you an idea of what it will look like.

EDIT 2/12/14: We'll have the illustration towards the right of the blog header so we'll want her looking left

EDIT 2/13/14: We want more of a clean animation style than a book/textbook illustration.

Yes, the blogger image resolution is low. We don't need an exact replica/portrait of her. This is provided to give an idea of face shape, hair/eye color etc.

Once the contest is over, we will need files in .jpg .png & vector files.

Relisting the work that I was told was plagiarism #1 because it's the best I've seen so far and most in line with what we are seeking. It appears that the creative licenses for the works used are both open to commercial use so I'm not sure if the issue is that it is against Freelancer policy. I can't use this graphic though because the client wants the cash in both hands.

Please let me know if I need to describe this project in other terms to get more results in this style.

#13 chinmay16dc – Not looking for a portrait style/exact replica. Looking for a smoother/cleaner design.
#9 DavydCJordan - I like the creative idea, but the woman looks masculine and lumpy.
#5 & #8 AdzFulmaran - I like where you're going with this. However, not sure why her head has a flat spot. Also, her face is very wide/masculine.
#11 matzimm the black lines are heavy and distracting. Please see the links of the styles we are seeking.
#14 studiosa the nose is so light I can barely see it. The face shape is square and masculine.

I appreciate the work you have all done. I'm adding edits based on trends I'm seeing.

You said that this is for a header, did you have any particular dimensions in mind? Should it be cropped to a header size?

  That's a good question. Thanks for asking.
  
  I'm using WP twenty thirteen theme right now. The header is 600x230 pixels. Of course, the graphic would occupy only a fraction of the header. Maybe around 280x200 for the illustration.

andrei11 that is a beautiful 1st entry! My feedback would be to make the hand a little smaller. Some important details, that I'll add to the project description - we'll probably have the illustration towards the right of the header so we'll probably want her looking left. My apologies for not including that. If you want to (so you don't have to spend any unnecessary time) , I don't mind if we wait until later in the contest and I can ping you if you are among the top contests and we can make changes then. The quality is nice so I have a good idea of what the changes would look like.

  Illustrator, I guess... (Sorry, I'm not a Graphic Designer, so I hope this helps) I just need to be able to get a graphic appropriate for web/digital media. And even nicer if it looks good on print (like for a biz card in the future)

  I'll check, but I think it might be the only one I can get my hands on. Doesn't need to be an exact "portrait" style, just enough that you can tell it kind of looks like her, if that makes sense. :-)
