Contest Brief

For a networking event, I'm looking to decorate a mason jar with an add-on / extra object / .. However, it needs to be 3D printable so that it can be used as an add-on to these standard mason jars. Think of something that slides over the jar or any other creative way to add it to this jar.

I have a preference for the logo to be 'negative': e.g. modelled by empty space, not extra height.

It would be absolutely great if the decoration served an extra purpose, applicable in the context (e.g. extra grip, ...)

Desired file format: STL/OBJ/...

In attachment
- image of the mason jar
- image of the logo that needs to be added

I've added some real life examples, hopefully that clears things up!

@layeredprints I have the same question do you want it on the Bottle or on Box ? Because from the 10x10x20 dimensions its seems that you want it for Box, I hope I am correct.

      btw Thanks For the information.

It's actually for the bottle, but I don't know the exact dimensions. It's more about the concept as well so doesn't really matter.

Hi,its unclear what you want here, can you draw us a something for example, not the idea obviously, whether the logo will be hanging to jars cap ,like a tag,or engraved on the cap,or glass wear you can press and insert.etc, you can draw a rough sketch what you have in mind, and also if it need to be 3d printed you need to provide dimensions exact,or is it just concept you need?thanks

I've added a sketch for a possible idea. Just the idea is fine. The 3D printable object can be attached anywhere on the jar as long as it attachable in a way.

Logo has to be extruded on the glass?

No, it needs to be modelled as an extra object that can be added to the mason jar (slide over, clicked on, ...) Looking forward to your submission!
