Contest Brief

The company is called Claybourn Walters Logging Company, Inc. and can be found on the web at http://www.claybournwalters.com/ - the website remodel is coming up next. The business is comprised of timber brokers that buy standing trees and sometimes the land they grow on and they have them cut down and sell them to lumber mills.

We are wide open to suggestions on the logo. Our only design principles are that the logo be clean and simple, should probably use an earth-tone color scheme. The idea is that the logo be clear and recognizable on a shirt or hat or other merchandise. So nothing intricate or detailed. We're open to using just the words "Claybourn Walters" or "Claybourn Walters Logging Company" or "CW" or "CWLC" but some form of identifier like this should be included. including a tree is probably most logical but not mandatory, like I said we're open to cool and creative suggestions.
