Hi Gifted Designers!

I'm looking for a logo for a project/concept called Culture Club, based in Toronto, Canada.

Culture Club is a new program that funds dynamic field trips for school children to explore their city and its urban landscape.

I am looking for a clean and simple, but playful aesthetic - it is for urban school children with some element of Toronto's skyline or CN Tower. I envision a child-like font with a basic outline of the CN tower and a Keith Hering like heart as a small detail.

The logo needs to look good in black/white and ideally 2 colours.

Key Messages:

When kids leave the classroom to wander the cosmos in a planetarium, bite into social justice in a soup kitchen or witness unfathomable history in a museum, science shows it has extraordinary impact on their hearts and minds: their critical-thinking skills and ability to empathize with other cultures dramatically improve; their curiosity and lust for learning explodes.

When we create equitable access for public school classes to explore Toronto’s diverse cultural learning hubs on field trips, we aren’t just investing in developing the potential of Toronto students, but a better future Toronto. Kids that experience learning in cultural institutions have better critical thinking skills, improved ability to empathize with other cultures, and a bigger thirst for learning; kids that fall in love with their city’s cultural capital want to explore it, develop it, protect it and respect it.

Culture Club empowers Toronto’s young, bright hearts and minds with the educational equity they deserve. We enable disadvantaged kids to access powerful, fun learning experiences outside the classroom so they can become the big thinkers and compassionate citizens we know they can be.
