Contest Brief

This logo is for a web/mobile app that enables consumers to find information relevant to businesses, organizations, products, services and events, in whichever neighbourhood the user is in at the time. It also provides businesses, organizations and independent freelancers a place to communicate with consumers, direct to their mobile device. So, it's about communication, location, and information.

The name of the app is provided in the attached text file, in two formats. We require both.

We are looking for a predominantly text logo which will be minimalist, flat and vibrant, with strong support for brand recognition. It should also include or incorporate a simple, yet original graphic that can be used on its own without the text, yet still support the same brand recognition.

Please keep all text sans-serif. Deliverable must include vector EPS and transparent PNG, for the 2 versions.

We'd love to see more entries with a square graphic, especially one with rounded edges. Can you creatively incorporate this square with a map marker? Or maybe turn it into a map marker? Let's see some ideas. :)

To increase your chance of winning, please remember the following:

1. Work on your kerning! We will not accept a logo where the kerning is off! This is an important part of typography.
2. Do not forget the servicemark and trademark symbols!
3. The graphic part of the logo must make sense based on what the app is about!
