Business logo for Geeky Gecko
Introduction
Geeky Gecko Backpackers offers accommodation in Dunedin, New Zealand (www.geekygecko.co.nz). We are a small hostel offering 52 beds, mainly to international travellers on their Overseas Experience in New Zealand. Our property is an old hotel built in 1860 and located in the ‘art precinct’ of Dunedin with many street art installations close by.
The logo
We require a logo designed for use in our marketing material. We want two views of our gecko:
1. A full length gecko (styled on attached ‘full length gecko’)
2. A head shot gecko (styled on attached ‘head shot gecko’)
and:
3. A full logo based on our gecko with the words “Geeky Gecko Backpackers Dunedin NZ” for use on our website and stationary.

a. Colour mix to be similar
b. Base colour to be RGB: 82, 116, 40
c. Less curve in tail so can be constrained in 2400 (length) X 720 (width) [3.3 : 1]
2. NOT a cartoon

Head shot gecko
1. Styled on attached sample image ‘head shot gecko’
2. Must be same head as above in colour and design
3. Background transparent
Full logo
1. Must use one of the two gecko designs above
2. Main text “Geeky Gecko Backpackers”
3. Sub text “Dunedin, NZ”
4. Background transparent
Technical
1. All 2D Vector files
2. All AI (Adobe Illustrator Artwork)
3. ‘Full logo’ layers to be supplied as layers (text layers)
4. Font for ‘Full logo’ to be stated and readily available
