Contest Brief

We need a logo designed for our new wine and craft distilling company, "Twenty-One Barrels Wine Company"

Looking to have a logo made for a distillery. We will be manufacturing wine, hard cider and liquor. We are located in Troy, Ohio.

The design specifics, we would like our logo to be simple, elegant, but yet modern and antique. It should be catchy and unique. We are distilling "craft" spirits and wine, so we are doing small batch, prohibition style. We would like our logo to include a barrel as this is an import feature of our name and theme. Maybe our logo can include Est. 2015 or include Troy, Ohio in the logo... we are open to ideas.

We are going to be producing wine from grapes, and fruit and hard cider from apples. In addition, we are going to be distilling craft spirits including vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, and bourbon. We are opening a winery and distillery in Troy, Ohio near Dayton, Ohio the birthplace of aviation. Our facility is going to have a vintage industrial look. High ceiling, concrete floors, exposed metal/wood beams, and aged brick walls . Our color scheme will be grey, black, red and wood grains. We will be merge the "barrel" in our name throughout our facility with the use of reclaimed barrel wood.

Our target market will be 25-60 men and woman with a median income of 40,000.

We will need to receive the logo in Adobe Illustrator format and JPEG or PNG format.

  You can ask for modidications, so that we can make our designs a 5 star winning entry. Plus colors and fonts can be changes if required, we can also submit more barrel mockups if required.

Also we would like the Barrel design to be more prominent and less focus on the badge/crests style. A simple unique branding style which blends vintage liqueur logo styles with a modern flair . It should not feel and look corporate.
