--UPDATE (1/29): Can you guys come up with some cool designs that utilize spotlights?

Hi Freelancers!

Institution Name: Backdoor Theatre
Www.backdoortheatre.org

I am looking for a sophisticated, edgy logo revamp for a classic institution in my city. Backdoor theatre is an established community theatre in Wichita Falls, TX.

Our current logo features the comedy tragedy masks. We wish to move away from this motif while still communicating the ideals of a community theatre with a stylish, sophisticated new logo.

The accepted logo will feature red, black and white colors, and be stylish and amazing. Other colors are acceptable if used properly. Please WOW me with your talent!

Do:
-Provide a cool, sophisticated logo
-Use colors and designs creatively
-Make a logo that will work on any medium (web, print, tv)
-Make a logo that can be resized and will still look awesome

Don't:
- Use the comedy tragedy mask
- more will be added here I'm sure..lol

-Try not to use to many door theme's. Mix it up, make it more about Theatre and less about the door.--

  I will rate them all once there are a few more. I like it, especially the white on Red. Can you give me a version that is white on red without being on a paper, business card, or iPad. Just the white logo on a red background. I'd like to see how it looks.

Hi Fabulsta, The story is that some 30 years ago when the troop of actors started the community theatre, they were acting out of a house, and the entrance was in the back. Hence the name, the backdoor theatre. Now they are in a much nicer building of their very own, but the name stuck.
