Summary of Contest:
Task 1) Design a logo.
Task 2) Design a basic branding guide such as a colour palette and selection of fonts to be used within a website.
Task 1) Design a Logo
The business is a web-based counselling service named: My Online Therapist. Clients will be able to access counselling support through ongoing delayed text-based counselling via both email and web chat with their counsellor/therapist. The specialist areas for counselling will be mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, grief and loss, life transitions, life coaching, and trauma. The service is designed to be especially accessible for people who are likely to avoid face-to-face or telephone counselling due to time constraints, living in a regional areas, or due to feeling uncomfortable with traditional modes of counselling. It is expected that young people will utilise this service in the greatest numbers due to their ease and comfort with communicating via text-based mediums and the common avoidance of face-to-face counselling services, so the logo must appeal to young people, however also adults. I would like the logo to have a compassionate/helping-service + corporate feel to it, however do not wish it to be in any way clinical/sterile. I like colour, so don't be afraid to utilise colours. PLEASE NO COPY AND PASTING FROM GOOGLE!! - Legitimate entries only!
Task 2) My Online Therapist branding.
I would like a branding guide to be designed with the main inclusions being:
i) a colour palette with colours that are to be used throughout the website, and obviously those within the logo, and utilised for the creation of any other business related materials. The colour palette is to ensure a consistency and to help create a brand. It would be important to have some bright colours and also muted and base colours.
ii) a selection of web compatible fonts. These are to include the fonts used within the logo but also fonts that will be utilised throughout the website.
Add anything else you think might be helpful as a part of branding! Impress me :-)

Wow... It's one thing to reject an entry but it's another to not leave any feedback whatsoever for something that took more than 2 hours to create. I worked hard on this and it was complete waste of time.

Please remember that with the branding guide I need the colours to be laid out with the CMYK codes and I need a selection of web compatible fonts that would fit with the logo. Many of the entries are including a mock up of the website to demonstrate the branding as well. This is great. The branding guide should be seen as a substantial part of the project, not just the addition of the colours from the logo and the name of the font from the logo. It should be a document that provides a guide for me to create the website and image of "My Online Therapist" Thank you.

The colour palette can include other colours aside from those in the logo. If your logo only has a few colours I would expect the addition of complementing colours in the branding guide. These should include base colours (greys, creams etc) and brighter colours.

I have extended the contest by 7 days. I have been impressed by a number of entries though am still not 100% sure about what I want. Please note I am going to reject entries that aren't close to what I am after without comment. I am just spending too much time commenting and rating entries. I'm sorry if anyone is disappointed by that. I mean no offence, just trying to be more efficient. Many entries are being entered with only a logo and no branding guide. No logo will win the competition without a branding guide. I will be reject any logos that have been rated for 2 days or more with nil addition of a branding guide. And thank you so much for all your time and entries! I appreciate it a lot!
