I need a logo designed for my new company.

It’s called “The BooBaa Baby Company”

This company will sell baby products online and at retail. This will begin with some simple products like pacifiers and soothers and eventually encompass pretty much any product used by babies, toddlers and their parents.

I need a logo designed that will incorporate the following:

• Has a baby company feel, but is also contemporary.
• Is colorful, but not overly busy.
• Somehow has to take advantage of the symmetry of the word “BooBaa” in the word portion of the logo.
• Has a baby in the logo who will act as our mascot. This baby needs to be a unique work of art. I don’t want to have issues with anyone claiming I ripped off their existing artwork.
• The baby cannot be too feminine or too masculine. It has to somehow be neutral.
• The baby obviously must be cute.
• The baby mascot needs to be designed in such a way that it can be used independently of the logo. In other words, I may want both the word logo and baby image to be used in some applications, and just the word logo without the baby image in others. As well, I may want to use the baby image separately.
It must be created in vector format (Adobe Illustrator) so I can easily re-size the image for different applications.

As you work on this, whichever designer is chosen will likely get more work from time to time as we need the baby mascot for other promotional pieces.

UPDATE: One of the designers has taken some liberties and instead of having a human baby, used a baby animal instead. Wow, did it look awesome. I invite you to experiment and use a baby animal if you like. I would love to see a baby monkey as the mascot or a baby porcupine.

    Well this is a mascot design contest, maybe it is better if not SEALED.. because if SEALED, we can't help you spot those fake entries, which are images that are just copied from the web, lots of people do that here. So be very careful CH, cause you might end up having some copyright issues if you use them...
