Design a Logo for a Local Theatre

Contest Brief

We need a scalable vector logo in an Adobe Illustrator or EPS format. The logo is for a theater in Livingston, Texas, the Fain Theatre. We've attached a jpg image that should be used as a template for the logo.

The logo should be a vector copy of the Fain sign and some of the building. More pictures of the building can be found by doing a google image search with the words Fain Theater Livingston.

    After a week of careful consideration, we've awarded Kiladesigns for her wonderful logo design. It definitely wasn't an easy decision. We really appreciated the work by everyone, kachilleos and thedubliner specifically had entries we loved, but we ultimately chose Kiladesigns #31 because in addition to the building design, we really loved that she incorporated the film into it in with a retro feel. Thanks again to everyone for giving us such wonderful logos to choose from.

    Gigsok, Kindly review #26 . I've adjusted the marquis which streamlined the bottom of the image giving the logo and better "ground." I like it very much. what are your thoughts? I'll keep going until we get it right!

    First off, we're just so impressed with all the entries. After looking at the images though, we noticed that our reference picture has actually cut off some of the top of our sign, and obviously that's been reflected in the entries. Totally our mistake, but if it's possible.. what's missing is some more of the "rings" at the top of the sign. They're shown in a picture located here: http://blogs.houstonpress.com/hairballs/Fain%20Theater.JPG. If it's not too much trouble we hope that the current logo samples can be edited to add the extra rings. Thank you so much, and again, we're sorry if this has caused confusion or inconvenience.
