Contest Brief
I am building 7 townhouses, in a small-medium density project, about 300m from the bayside in Melbourne. The project faces directly onto a park, and will be called "THE CIVIC". I need a logo to be designed which captures the sentiment of the bayside, the park frontage and generally is appropriate for the development. Refer the attached 3d colour flyover for a visual image of the proposed development. Thank you for your interest in my project.

Thanks but the logo is not appropriate., it represents a high rise building when this is just a 3 storey residential.

Can you please imagine the words THE CIVIC being written where it says "Cafe", and that should guide you all in terms of what I am looking for. Something that will look appropriate at that location. Thanks to all who have submitted entries. Try this - if you have used an image of a building, then move that building image to the left of the words THE CIVIC. And another idea is try to have some green (representing grass) and some blue (representing water, or waves) on top and on bottom of the words THE CIVIC. Maybe just experiment with different versions of grass on top and waves underneath, maybe with a building image on the left, or even NO building at all, just green and blue themes. See what you can come up with. THanks for your interest in this project.

Remember, this logo will go onto the front of the building entrance as you walk in and also will sit on the letterbox. So it needs to capture the two key themes - its a 3 storey (low rise) residential dwelling, next to water (bayside) and fronting a park. So very tall building images are not appropriate. And standard residential single house is also not appropriate. Multiple houses/roof lines are OK, greenery is good, something suggesting water is also good. Thanks for your interest so far.
