Contest Brief
We are in need of a logo for our client, CenTex Rentals. The company is based in Austin Texas. The “CenTex” stands for Central Texas, which means Austin and surrounding cities. They specialize in rentals for wedding and parties. This means; tables, chairs, tents, etc. This is a proud locally owned Austin small business, so the logo concepts should give some kind of a nod to Austin.
This logo should be fun! We’re looking for original illustrations, and some fun typography. While we want the logo to be fun, we still would like to keep it professional, which means nothing over the top.
The logo should be aesthetically pleasing in both small and large sizes, in a variety of mediums, such as web, print, and signage. It also must look good on both light and dark backgrounds, and in black and white (one color printing). A horizontal orientation would be best, extra points for logos that also have a vertical layout. The logo should also be artistically balanced, meaning the logo should seem "balanced" to the eye - no one part should overpower the rest.
