Contest Brief

We need a logo for our printed circuit board shop. The shop's name is Uni-PCB. We'll offer very cheap prototype boards for students, pupils and hobbyists.
The logo needs to be provided using a free vector file format (svg, eps, odg ...). We need a nice logo for our webshop, cards and bills and such. Beside that there need to be a 2nd version that can be set as position print on our boards.

You are completely free when designing the logo, just keep in mind that it must still be recognisable in it's reduced position print version. To get an idea what we mean with position print look here http://i0.wp.com/www.michaelhleonard.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Labels3.jpg It's the white text and drawings. So we need a logo that can also be drawn as monochrome lines and recognisable even if printed pretty small.

So far we had two ideas how it could look like in case you need some hint, we hope to be surprised though:
1. http://ClipartOf.com/1216231 this one standing on on or more PCB's instead of books (the position print logo would be hard here)
2. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27545495/Freelancer/unipcb.png (poorly made example but would be relatively easy to be printed on the pcb's)

The pcb used for mockups won't influence the decision anyway. If that would be the case you should preferably use pcb mocups with green silk screen, white position print and ENIG surface plating.

We got more ready to use entries than we hoped for so shortly after the contest starts. It seems some of us start to hype certain entries already making it very hard for new entries to compete. Thus we will start to give 5 star votings from now on for those entries that will be presented to an independant jury when it's time to pick the winner.

@ricardosanz38: Thanks for reporting. We commented in that entry already that we are worried about having seen similar logo before. However we haven't found an exact copy yet, so we consider it inspired but self made for now.

And for the PCB it is not copied from your creativity Sir if you have mistaken me. I am really sorry that I googled and easily got a mockup(your pcb :) ) just to showcase my logo. Sir, Do you want the URLs for that PCB? I am glad to provide the links to others too for this contest to use it as a mockup.

LOL.. not here again :) chill dude... I am new to freelancer but done many spec work and designed many logos. So this is not new that to find someone pointing high rated entry as copied from your brain :) As CH says DontTalkJustDo :)

We'll give feedback every day if possible. So far we don't know ourselfs where to head to exactly. However you can consider 1-2 star ratings rejected. The top entries have been given 4 stars so far. 3 stars mean that we like it and see potential (also taking into consideration that we sometimes change our taste over night)
