Contest Brief

MOS Active is our company name. We are new brand of high quality, premium product male only active wear. Our vision for our brand to supply men with a product that stands out from the rest, embodies men with the confidence to pursue their own fitness goals from the beginner through to the elite.

From runners, weight lifters, gym goers, triathletes, walkers, yoga, football players of all codes, cricket, baseball and any other aspect where active wear is worn we want men to be proud to wear their active wear. Also we envisage our apparel to be worn in a casual environment, whether that is doing the shopping, hanging out at home or running errands. Although our brand is for all men our key demographic is from ages 17 to 35.

Our vision for our logo is to represent men as they are, the Alpha Male in their pursuit of fitness. Therefore we require the following requirements for the images once a contest is won:

Format image requirements:

AI,JPG,PDF,PNG,PSD,EPS.

Colour Scheme:

Preferably Black or white background, with writing in black or white. Like samples 4,5,7,9.

If we had to add colour we want red. This commonly related to blood and can be depicted as been in a battle through competition. Red is an option not a necessity, once we start designing our clothing line we can change the logo and writing colour to suit the colour scheme of the clothing.

Logo Design:

We would like to include a chevron which is the ancient symbol for Man. This is shown in our examples 'Mos Logo v6' and Mos Logo 5'. Also a potential for a spear and shield would also be acceptable to incorporate. We want Men to feel that when they wear our brand of clothing they feel empowered by the symbol to get active and embrace fitness and move forward in their fitness journey.

Writing:

We would like the words 'MOS' to be separated from the 'Logo' and not included within the Logo design. This is shown in samples 1,4,5,7 and 9. We want the words 'MOS' to be in bold, uppercase, readable letters and show strength and essence of moving forward when you wear our brand.

Further to the above, with our branding of the 'Logo' and the words 'MOS' we want this to be separate this at times, examples of this shown by Nike in sample images 12 and 13 (i.e on shorts and shirts). As mentioned in the paragraph above we also want the words 'MOS' and the 'Logo' to be together as well, examples of this shown in samples 1,4,5,7,9 and 14. Please note we do NOT want anything that resembles the Nike branding/logo.

What we don't want:

Graphic Images that a cheesy as per 'sample 11' and 'sample 12'. We also don't want much colour. We want our logo to be simply yet drive home the fact we a strong brand for Men to be proud of.

Add On's:
The logo that we choose will be used on social media platforms (twitter, facebook, instagram, pintrest, etc) and will eventually be used on our clothing and branding, websites etc.

Please note your image at sometime may be trademarked under the relevant laws of Australia in the future.

Keep up the good work everyone. One thing to all contestants if you can make the writing of 'MOS' thicker/stronger and squared off. Also if you can make the word 'active' smaller font underneath the word 'MOS' that would be great
