Hi Freelancers!

Our client is looking for a logo for a young and dynamic legal firm.

The firm is called BCS AVOCAT.

We're looking for a modern, clean, professional and simple logo for this kind of business.

A rectangular shaped logo will be used on the website and will be the main focus. It would be great if the logo has a square as well as a rectangular shaped variation.

The website it's going to be used on will be black/dark grey coloured and the firm suggested that colours like purple and dark pink would contrast well with the dark colours but would still look good when they use it on their letterheads and business cards.

Optionally - The BCS part stands for B. Cohen-Sabban - you can include that in the logo if you wish if it doesn't make it look over complicated - it is probably best to keep it simple.

  No slogan or tag line. You could try Cohen-Sabban as a tag line like element to the logo and see how that looks.

Hi freelancers - thanks for the great response so far. We're going for young and dynamic so please avoid the "scales" idea as that's a bit old fashioned.

  Hi - please no hammers and scales either however, the firm might be interested if someone can incorporate the cravate that barristers wear in a design - so you know what that looks like i have just added a file to the brief - unnamed.jpg http://data.freelancer.com/contest/152566/unnamed.jpg - this is an idea the firm had that might give you some inspiration and could be good but not a requirement to win the contest.

  Well done text would be fine. If someone has an idea for a graphic element possibly using the letters BCS as you see in some entries that could be cool.
