Contest Brief

Amedia is a media and marketing group launching in Canada, we are currently out-sourcing our logo project in order to receive a wide range of creative and unique concepts. Having said that we are not looking for a logo but rather a vision, so please read carefully and create something for us that is powerful, visioning, essential and captivating while remaining simple and elegant. Please read the following instructions and information:

Text: Amedia

Colors: Rainbow color scheme preferred or use of red/orange/yellow/blue or any vibrant and energetic colors

Concept: Non-linear and free-form..maybe using swiggly lines to create an "A" and "M" - something creative and free, not confined or restricted or sharp. We are looking for something that illustrates design/media/graphics. We want this to be simple yet elegant, this logo is going to define the principles of our company that is we are a vision portal and not just a service company. I'd like to see concepts with negative space (not a mandatory criteria) more importantly, I want to see concepts that come from the heart, design something that you feel is empowering and loud.

We are a media and design firm and that mean our logo must be non-confined or restricted. When designing the logo, stay away from linear lines and use free form design - make use of shapes that have waves/twirls/swiggles/zigzag etc. We need a logo that will illustrate design, media and freedom.

  Thanks for submitting. Color scheme looks a lot better than your other submissions however it is still unbalanced. Use the generic rainbow colors and try to fade the colors out evenly. Also can you put more of a twist to the logo? Make it less linear and more twirly?
