Contest Brief

Araneum Consulting AB is a small Swedish management and IT consultancy company, delivering services in:

*) Project Management
*) IT Management
*) Process Development
*) Prestudies and Analyses
*) Procurement Support
*) Systems Engineering

The company now needs a logotype that signals:

*) Professional
*) Trustworthy
*) Analytic

but also

*) Creative
*) Energetic

The logotype will be used on website, letterheads and business cards. It must look good on screen as well as in print, in color as well as in grayscale.

The words "Araneum Consulting AB" should not all be placed in a single row, since that probably makes the logo too wide and difficult to use.

Use classic, tasteful colors, but with a spark of life. Three basic colors (four?) at the most.

Final design must be delivered in a scalable and editable vector format (Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) and/or Adobe Photoshop (.psd)).

"AB" is the equivalent of "Ltd". So, if necessary, "AB" can be set in a smaller font.

I prefer sans serif fonts. Cleaner and better for small print on business cards.

I would like the background to be plain and white.
