I just launched my new company: "BrainCube Studios"

We provide a variety of services, ranging from marketing, analytics, web development, and direct marketing of products and services.

We need a simple logo that is capable of scaling down to a small graphic for business cards and letterheads, but can also be displayed in full color on a website. Simpler is better. Also, don't worry so much about incorporating the name of the business in the logo. We're just looking for a little logo/mark that we can use as a symbol.

UPDATE:
The logos that have been submitted are a great start and has been very inspiring to see these come through. With the time remaining (and perhaps I'll extend the contest), I would love to see more logos that are in the line art style (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/30891947413540109/): that are simple, clean and delicate and still playful. Not necessarily line art style, but these are other examples of the vibrant, playful, utilizing white space and still clean logos that I would love to see: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/108719778478322486/, http://www.pinterest.com/pin/160792649168892681/, http://www.pinterest.com/pin/2392606024186000/.

Also, the logos that have resonated best with me are the brains within the cube, brains morphing in to cubes ... etc.

Hello! If you could extend the contest for a day, I would be very grateful and submit a logo that I think would be just what you described and asked for (keeping in mind the latest update). I am currently experiencing trouble with my design software, but should have everything sorted out tomorrow. I work in Adobe Illustrator, so the logo would be vectored, re-sizable so you can use it for whatever you need. I have a great idea and really wish to submit it!

We've been trolling for inspiration. We are still looking for the perfect logo, and feel like we're getting closer. One theme that has inspired us is line-art style minimalist logo marks. Here's an example:
