Contest Brief

We are a recording studio under the name CCRT Communications. We operate from Montreal Canada in both official languages ( English and French)
We use our professional studios for 2 MAIN purposes. The recording of voice talents (narrators) for On-hold messaging productions that feel and sound more like radio advertisements.
Our second purpose is script-writing, creation and production of audio files for TV and radio commercials ( from voice to sound effects and soundbeds to complete productions)

What we are looking for is to update our logo. For Business cards and multimedia platforms.

We do not necessarily have colors in mind. The last logo has been around for the past 15 years, needless to say we need to rejuvenate it!

We are looking for a creative way to bring together a global Telephone fiber optic technology VIBE while perhaps combining the audio production aspect of our business.
We are open to have 2 concepts as well, so long as they can tie-in well.
You can refer to our website at www.ccrt.ca ...although THAT too is being revamped ( ans you'll see why) : )

We will have 2 separate websites ( one for on hold messaging productions AND the other for the professional studio audio services. Although we DO NOT want to have a corny look of a microphone... we want to think outside the box but be relevant.
WE do not want something too heavy ( background should be transparent and the logo should be in EPS format.

Here are some existing logos (as attachments) in different variations... we like the fact of having the swish, the fiber optics lines... BUT we also find the logo kinda flat, Something with dimension, concave ... perhaps... who knows... Surprise us and there will be a pamphlet, flyer or presentation background document that will come from this at a later date as well.

This is a continuation from my previous comment about the logo at www.cnvoiceovers.ca its subtle , has a microphone in the background, , looks like an emblem, has metallic feel to it and dimensions...

seems like no one has thought of making a logo that looks more like an AVATAR logo, you know... a stand alone emblem (almost like an automobile crest!) I had really liked the one I had someone make for me personally... like the one on this page www.cnvoiceovers.ca

I know, getting close to the deadline...Here is an idea from the top of our heads... Our Mascot is a A panther ( black panther)...could we see what incorporating that into the LOGO would look like... the head, or the body, a streamline, an outline...whatever... ? You guys are creative.....so ...go for it !

  yes indeed on the dimensional aspect! good work... take the effect on this one and go back to the blue color but dimensional metal effect ( make sure the 2 blue colors are identical, and perhaps with a thin silver outline... wow I like where this is going for sure.
