Contest Brief

Looking for an aggressive logo for my company Chimera. Looking for a graphic and text combination, but strong design in each where they could stand alone. I have attached a text logo that I have started to design and would like to stem from there. There are also some graphic ideas that I found online that I like and perhaps you can draw inspiration from.
