Contest Brief

Looking for a great logo for our church in Sanford, Maine: Curtis Lake Church.
We are a large, dynamic, Christian church, with a focus on families and serving our community. We are not affiliated with a particular denomination. A great design will have a strong icon and text treatment. We'd love to grow our brand to eventually use the icon independently of the full logo. We would like to see original logo ideas that don't necessarily feature a cross. Also helpful as you begin is the knowledge that we believe our church is a family of engaged believers, not our building.

It's so sad when I see so called "freelancers" using google image finder as a tool rather than their creativity and brain to earn money. :( They should banned from here. It's a shame and its disrespectful.
Dear Contest Holder, don't let yourself fooled and google "people logo" to see yourself where these ideas coming from. I'm bored and sick to search all of them myself.

  Exactly. Although I respect the tastes of any employer, be aware that you may be getting an overused image off google and the original logo you think. By the time it becomes obvious to you, you'll already have spent your money on a scam. Doing some research and being open minded will guarantee your success employing freelancers on here and increase the chances of receiving original work.
