I need a logo designed for SoCal Creative Woodworks. It is a custom high-quality cabinet-making business that markets to consumers in both the economically conscious and high end markets. The logo will be used for website, print, silk screen, embroidery, and merchandise. No color preference. Some ideas (though not mandatory): using a wood grain in some part of the logo; possibly not using a graphic and just using the company name in a creative way (but LEGIBLE font); no palm trees or overly stereotypical southern CA references. We hope to build brand recognition around this logo.

I will need the logo in a scalable .psd OR .xcf AND as a .png export.

3/25/14 update: Love the submissions so far! I have just uploaded another doc with some ideas we have mocked up, but don't have the artistic flare and nifty computer skills to pull off. Just throwing some more ideas out there. Thanks, everyone, who has submitted so far!
