Contest Brief

Design a logo for a fashion company,
The brand name is: BLKwoods
the name comes from african black wood, ie a type of wood that is considered to be one of the most expensive in the world.
Our products target people of ages 30-50.
We produce top quality products, and so we need the logo to promote that.
Colors to be used are black and gold.
The logo must be easy to use on all different surfaces without changing concept. (on fabrics, digital media, engravings...)
The main initials are BLK, but then again, the logo could consist of a graphic design illustrating the name without actually mentioning the name.
Creativity and uniqueness are what im looking for.

*** UPDATE ***

So far 90% of what i have received is simply a different font for the letters BLK,
Please be creative in drawing something, it doesnt have to be any letters, it could just be a crest or a figure that we could then connect with the name.
