I just spoke with the client, and she has changed some of the details for this logo design contest. My apologies for these late changes and clarifications! I am extending this contest by five days and raising the final dollar amount to allow for this. Due to health reasons, she will not be able to continue with Muay Thai in the region of Thailand — so she is continuing in Korea as a boxer with a more Korean audience.

Here is the latest from the client.

Please look at the new image she has supplied. This is the image she wants to use for the logo graphic. Think in terms of minimal, vector, silhouette or stencil rendering of this graphic. Feel free to combine this with a dragon image, but keep extremely clean for the sake of branding on t-shirts, business cards, web site, etc... The graphic should very minimal. Here's the latest from the client concerning lettering:

"In terms of the name, I've always favoured lettering that tends a little toward the cursive style handwriting look and is angled to the right. In particular the tops and bottoms of the 'K' in the first name and the 'K' in the last name can be extended and curved and made to look a bit more dynamic." It would also be great to make the surname more significant.... (Kleiner)

"Since Korean fans would be vitally important from now, it would be good to include korean script. The first three characters below represent my name (korean surname, then the next two characters are my first name)."

After the comma, the first two characters represent 'boxing' and the next two characters represent 'competitor'.

• Her name is Ki-Yeong Kleiner.
• Her ancestry is German and Korean.
• She likes dragons.
• She goes by "The Conqueress".
• She specializes in Muay Thai & MMA fighting.

Colors she likes: Royal Purple, red, pink, gold (sparkling gold), white & black.

Existing logos she likes: Adidas, Mercedes, Top King Boxing (gloves, shin guards, etc...)

Our thoughts concerning the logo:

Check the image of her throwing a kick. Imagine a japanime version of this, with exaggerated perspective. Tough, but hot. Mean, but sexy. Cool, but cute. Remember the juxtaposition of German and Korean, but with an emphasis on the Korean warrior. Possibly anime style?

Hi, Great brief! Justo one question: do you prefer a adidas/mercedes simple graphic? Or something like a roller derby style kind of logo?

  Yes, it's unfortunate that she had to change to a boxing career... and thus change images. You're a very talented illustrator. This will need to be a more basic & minimal — stencil or ink stamp style as a logo.

  It's actually Ki-Yeong Kleiner, with the new Korean text added below. If you can work in "The Conqueress", that's great, but that's a tagline. Not the logo.
