Contest Brief

I need a logo for a new, high end furniture design & manufacturing company, Jolm Designs.
We work specifically with handcrafted materials, often from Italy.
Materials we use is often designed by top fashion designers such as Pierre Cardin.
We design and manufacture tables, lamps, mirrors, credenzas, bedheads, side tables and art.
I want it to be classic and elegant but with a uniqueness and modern touch.
I like the idea of teal/grey/white colours but am open to suggestions & ideas.
I don't want a picture in the logo - this is about the name and what creative ways you can give design twist to it.

I'd like the logo to be transferable and used in a variety of ways including car signage, business cards, website, banner as well as a logo on the finished items.
