Contest Brief
Hello fellow human beings from planet Earth (as far as I know). I am looking to have a logo built/created for a new company that will focus on creating Marketing/Advertising Campaigns for Small and Medium Size Businesses in the Los Angeles arena.
The company is called 2531 Marketing because I served as a US Marine for 8 years and 2531 was the designated nomenclature/code assigned to "Radio Communicators" within the Military. A "2531" Radio Operator is a very well informed Marine that understand how to use radio equipment and also able to communicate over the radio for a variety of purposes. As one can imagine, "Communication" is everyone once you are in a combat situation. Without communication, everything halts or goes wrong. As a Radio Operator, I was the first to "know" what was going on within the combat landscape and I had the responsibility to assure that communications were always up and working. I had to understand the fundamentals of a variety of radio frequencies, military jargon etc, however, the most intense component of being a radio operator was the "Power" in being able to direct artillery, air strikes and naval gun fire through a radio. There is a saying in the Marines, that there is nothing more deadly in a combat field then a Marine with a "Radio" since, a "radio" is what allows that Marine to call in a 3,000 lb bomb or call in support for an injured person.
I want 2531 Marketing to represent a "Marketing Firm" that provides a comprehensive approach to each client, where the client's business model is fully understood and a very precise Marketing Campaign "War Campaign" will be mapped out and executed by 2531's team of intelligent and competent individuals who understand the power that lies in concept of "Communications". To us, communication is everything. Communications allows us to understand the landscape of our clients, its competitors and ultimately allows us to create a strategy that will be both accurate and effective, just as a laser guided bomb.
I am looking for the following attributes of this logo and it must contain the "2531 Marketing". The overall ideas that I have in mind are as folllows:
1. Combat Environment
2. Communications/radio
3. Aggressive
4. Precise
5. SGT Chevrons or Image of a Military Radio
6. Think "Stencil" type of font.
7. Teamwork
8. Innovative/High End/Precision
9. Think "Laser Guided"
10. Think "impactful" "Effective"
Colors?
1. Black and White or
2. Olive/Military Green
