Contest Brief

Logo designed for the business MarketingGE

MarketingGE aims to contribute to a better world which is more sustainable, where carbon emissions are lowered, a world which is greener.

MarketingGE provides marketing advice, products and services to providers of green energy products and services, entrepreneurs, and others running business in the area of sustainabile energy (such as renewable energy – solar power, energy efficiency, green buildings etc).

MarketingGE is owned by 8020green, which has an awesome logo - see the attachment.

MarketingGE helps green entrepreneurs become more profitable and have more fun.

MarketingGE is a virtual business, delivering services via the web, via both PC and mobile devices. It provides information, runs events, delivers training and coaching.

The logo needs to be simple, suited to websites and apps for mobile devices, and associated with the themes outlined above.
It can be similar to the 8020Green logo, but doesn't have to be.

In addition to supplying a logo for MarketingGE, the winner will need to provide identical logos with the words "MarketingEE" and "MarketingRE" (note the only changes will be the letter "G" changed to a "E" and a "R").

All logo rights need to be assigned to 8020Green Pty Ltd.

  This is OK, I like the fonts, but as per my public discussion I don't think now that the use of a leaf is appropriate as it could be associated with Genetic Engineering

to be very clear, as I have been looking at the logos I am realising that a leaf is probably more likely to be associated with Genetic Engineering rather than Green Energy, so designs should not be using a leaf.

GE is meant to stand for Green Energy, also note that light bulbs are a little dated now as a symbol for green energy.
