I see you have caught the CH's eye by cheating and now you are doing the work you should have done in the 1st place lol. You are a thief, a cheat and the CH is as bad as you for encouraging you to break freelancer's terms and conditions. How the CH can say it's "great work so far" when it wasn't your work lol. Proven by the way. Go do that on 99designs, designcontest or designcrowd and you'd be banned in minutes of you being reported . That's why my main work is done on these sites instead of this site which is absolutely full of thieves, fraudsters and con men who want money for nothing. Shame on you to the both of you.

To the CH. Can I ask? Are you another middle man? I only say as I see you have 13 reviews and I can assume you haven't had your logo done 13 times. What I'm asking is, are you the actual client?

To Femi2c, stop it now, your'e just embarrassing yourself. The fact that you don't know what a sign writer is, shows the complete lack of knowledge you have. Sign Writers are what they used to call logo designers fool,, and nothing to do with song writing. How you made that leap is beyond me lol. The massive difference between you and me is I don't cheat "to satisfy the client" If I did the 100 m sprint using a motorbike against Yussain Bolt and won, it doesn't mean I can run faster than him. Besides, my portfolio speaks for itself and I have just been invited to be a preferred freelancer, so my "songwriting" must be working lol. The fact still remains that you have used stock vectors to create your logo. This means you cannot handover the logo to the client as you have broken freelancer's terms and conditions. If you do try, I will report you and the CH in writing to freelancer, and as a result you will be banned.

Signwriters design, manufacture and install signs, including advertising signs for shops, businesses and public facilities as well as signs for transport systems. source (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signwriter) A graphic designer is a professional within the graphic design and graphic arts industry who assembles together images, typography, or motion graphics to create a piece of design. A graphic designer creates the graphics primarily for published, printed or electronic media, such as brochures (sometimes) and advertising. They are also sometimes responsible for typesetting, illustration, user interfaces, web design, or take a teaching position. A core responsibility of the designer's job is to present information in a way that is both accessible and memorable. source (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphic_designer) I think you can see yourself as wrong to take signwriter to be a graphic designer. Lol

Maybe if I put it like this you may just understand. That nice clean edged soldier silhouette you took from the INTERNET, may have been created by a highly paid studio designer, with 30 years experience. Now baring in mind this is a contest, I have suddenly found that I am not competing against you, I am competing against you and some other designer who doesn't even know that his work has been stolen for profit. Now lets say I am really really rich and this is just a hobby for me. I could then just buy the best vector designs money could buy and pretty much win every contest. Not because I am a good designer, but because I can buy the best vectors. Do you remember a band called "Milli Vanilli" who had their "grammy" taken back off them because the song they won with, was not sung by them, and they were just miming the words. There is no difference here. I look forward to your remarks to the points I have raised. Good luck.

To the CH, 99% of contest holders normally reject designs that have been proven to have used stock vectors, as they feel cheated, and then insist on original designs only which adhere to freelancer's terms and conditions. Here is a link to an image of the box we all have to tick to enter a design https://gyazo.com/a3c40644a42d59c8f1e779aa95fd39fb just in case you think I'm making this all up. Like I said take the money and run. You haven't guaranteed the contest so thank yourself lucky.

In your portfolio you state and I quote "I am a professional graphic designer, art/creative director and illustrator with 10 years experience. I graduated with a degree in graphic design." but yet the first thing you do is trawl the internet for stock?? Now that is confusing to me. Or could it be that your'e all about as much output as possible and as quickly as possible, and not quality?

To the Ch, I hope you realize I am not trying to spoil your contest in anyway. In fact I am trying to make sure you don't pay $100 for a logo that was not created by the terms and conditions set down for us as freelance designers. These people want money for free. So if I was you I would take the money and run. Go to one of the other design sites that have much much stringent rules and are policed correctly. That way you will get an original logo which doesn't have elements to it that are strewn all over google. I say again that these guys cheating would be banned and have theiir accounts closed on the spot for this kind of infringement.

Thank you for all the great submissions so far! A few comments. I would like to stay away from the red cross due to the potential issues with trademark infringement. Another use of the symbol with a color or than red could work, or, a different, non-trademarked, medical symbol such as the Rod of Asclepius. Also, I would like to stick with a simple three color scheme (the red, white, and blue found in the U.S.A. flag). Please make any changes needed and keep the great logos coming! 2 days left!

You just don't get it do you femi2c. YOU CANNOT HANDOVER THAT LOGO WITH THE STOLEN VECTOR AS IT BREAKS ALL FREELANCER'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

And also, stop encouraging the Contest Holder to break freelancer's terms and conditions by still pushing the vector you stole. The Contest Holder would then be reported along with you. He would have signed a very similar agreement to the one you signed "fraudulently" I should add.

You come on here pay someone $100 for a logo and then find that the main part of the logo "the soldier saluting" is all over google https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=soldier+saluting+silhouette&client=opera&hs=JOI&biw=1824&bih=917&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0CB8QsARqFQoTCKKkt5O05sgCFQILGgodqyMA7A

FYI the red cross is trademarked by obviously red cross. Feel free to check online but it is one of the most highly trademarked logo out there due to the sensitive nature of the logo.

we also like the www.flfaves.org logo as well. http://www.flfaves.org/ The Red Cross in the center is great - obviously focuses on medical, other element to consider for inclusion are: Gold rope on the perimeter, match the font with the VA.gov seal font, match dark and light blue coloring, add american flag elements and stars. Try to keep it simple without being too busy. The army helmet in the red cross submitted by femi2c favors US Marines and US Army only since the Airforce, Navy and Coast Guard do not typically wear helmets. The www.flfaves.org uses a standing salute which solves that issue. Keep up the good work!
