Contest Brief

I have recently started my own woodworking / woodturning business and I am looking for a professional looking logo to be used on my website and all business tags, business cards etc. The business name is fallenwooddesigns and I have purchased the domains for this. The bulk of my woodturnings will be wooden bowls, rolling pins, mortar and pestles, vases etc. The design that I am looking for must represent the business (woodturning) and be unique. I am not looking for a whimsical design and hopefully someone can incorporate the wood aspect into the design and perhaps even incorporating a fallen tree into the design. It would be nice to be able to use the text from the design (fallenwooddesigns) to be used in a simple stamp etc for smaller turned items as well but this is not mandatory.

    Hi! I'm new here, and I have hard time understanding this contests-concept. So is it like I draw the final-logo about this and post here? And employer sees it and choose among the logos that have been posted? And get 90 CAD as payment? Somebody help newbie :) thank you

      Yes that's correct, although some contest owners want a final concept, and if they award the contest to you, you work on the final. Any other questions just let me know.
