Contest Brief

Seeking logo for a community development non-profit called "(CIPA) COMMUNITIES IN PROGRESS ASSOCIATION"

It currently runs a one project/group called Progress in the Park (www.progressinthepark.ca) in a low-income public housing community and seeks to work in other communities in the future. It focuses efforts of development on entrepreneurship, the environment, and education to improve peoples socioeconomic status. We create empowerment projects such as: community gardens, mentorship programs (for business consulting, employment services, and education/career advising) and target existing local service providers (e.g family resource centres, waste management companies) to improve their resources and engagement with the communities.

Theme for logo could include a puzzle/puzzle pieces such as the Progress in the Park logo, and/or environment, family, economic symbols, togetherness etc.

We consider ourselves a group that "bring the pieces together" rather than reinventing the wheel.

Colours: Open to anything!
