Contest Brief

Rivcom Pty Ltd is a "local" agricultural commodities brokerage firm, specialising in the brokerage and accumulation of irrigated cotton and grains (wheat, barley, canola, sorghum, cottonseed etc), and the brokerage of irrigation water and licences. Rivcoms main clients or customers are farmers of irrigated cotton and grains from the Riverina, Southern NSW (look it up!) The target geographic region across which Rivcom seeks to grow its business in is the Lachlan River, the Murrumbidgee and Murray River irrigation areas. Rivcom acts either as an agent for multinational exporters or as a broker in its own right. Rivcom aims to deliver a low-overhead, cost effective, honest and reliable marketing service to local farmers, whilst bringing value to their farming businesses through access to good pricing and timely execution of documentation and payments.
I am looking for a fresh and vibrant logo that communicates the above attributes, to place on business cards, company stationery, email signature, vehicle signage etc. the logo needs to be colourful, eye-catching and easy to read. Feel free to surprise me with your creativity! maybe a leafy, plant type of logo.
COTTON IS A BIG PART OF RIVCOMS BUSINESS. GET AN INSGE OF A MATURE COTTON BOLL AND STYLIZE IT, MAYBE USE THE BOLL IMAGE AS THE BASIS OF YOUR DESIGN.
Now that we are half way through the contest, I would like to see designs that focus on the "Rivcom" brand name only and not make use of a plant or cotton boll image. Thanks in advance, I am looking forward to seeing the new designs! Ross.
