Contest Brief

I need a logo designed for a business management software I've built.
I want the logo to feel modern and simple.
The design needs to be a full design for the splash screen, but be able to be abbreviated for a desktop or start-menu icon.

Besides that, I'm open to most ideas.

The software is called Simplex
If it's not obvious, the idea with the name is that the program takes complex functions and presents them in very simple ways.
Complex + Simple = Simplex
