Contest Brief

I need a classy, simple logo for a company that makes tailored shirts called "hem" (can play around with upper/lower case as see fit, though all lower case is preferred). The logo should be sophisticated and slick with minimal use of color. It can include graphic embellishments related to shirt tailoring (such as needle, thread, stitching, collar) but should be subtle and elegant, not playful or gimmicky. The logo needs to be able to appear very nicely as a woven label on a shirt, so please keep that in mind for how it will translate into a sewn medium - ie it should fit nicely into a rectangular shaped box. Perhaps it evens has a border around it or other geometric hints.

The tagline is "Shirts with meaning", so I would also like an additional version of this logo that includes the tagline.

I'm looking for something engaging and creative within the boundaries of a masculine, professional image that conveys an upscale personality without going for luxury. That being said, I'm open to a wide range of font types and interpretations of this theme, evident by the 4 examples I've attached.
