Contest Brief

I am looking for someone to design a logo for my company 'The Barbell Pantry'.

This company specialises in healthy living, healthy foods and yummy treats that are good for you. The audience/demographic are people who are active and healthy, lift weights and want to live a healthier life.

The logo will be placed on products - food packaging, containers, bags and also made into stamps to stamps and stickers. This will also eventually be the main logo needed for a cafe opening in a year or two.

I am looking for something simplistic, modern logo with clean lines. I have a template/idea of what i want the main logo to be which I would like the concept based around and perfected, but i would also like a lfont/word placement/typography for the name 'The Barbell Pantry' or 'TBP' also.

Creativity and use of things like barbells, cupcakes, donuts, cookies, baking equipment or other cafe-type food to be incorporated is favoured, whilst still sticking to the main idea/concept.

while zvercat27 has already presented a step-by-step brief version, there's no point in me presenting you the same. I can however, offer you an alternative in the same aimed retro style of way which I'm hoping you'll give a chance. Kindly read the description along with the comments in entry #70 , whereas I've broken the idea down for you and pointed out to few things.
