  Dear Andrew,
  
  I tried to convert dartboard into a D and a dart
  
  I know I am a little late for the submission and you have already have chosen the winner. However, I would really appriciate it if you would consider this design

  I'm seeing that use of the word "Dart" in the logo is making it hard to visualize how that logo could be shrunk to very small sizes, as required. It also keeps the iconic part from being as recognizable if the word would be removed. I suggest any additional entries avoid including "Dart" (the word) in the logo.

  I discovered a mistake in the resolutions I was requesting. Most notably the monochrome icon should be 38x38 pixels (bigger, giving you more expressive freedom). Sorry for my mistake.

  I find myself leaning toward logos with a graphic of a message (in some form) over that of a target.

     # 5 to # 34 the user based on iconic forms, to see the icon in the smart-store, etc..
     Courier will understand it, others perhaps confused with mail service etc..
     With respect to the funds, it's just a general idea, I think I should also point to the design of the interface of the application, so that the logo can be applied correctly.

     you are looking to brand your icon or app is that you quickly recognize its function - messages.
     why not use that graphic Conveción.

  Several of these entries look good, but I have a hard time imagining them looking recognizable in the monochrome 24x24 version as required in the brief. Those entries that include a sample monochrome version image alongside the color one (especially if they're at the right size) are more likely to be selected.
