I'm putting together an group that is an alternative to Boy Scouts. Its called the Davy Crockett Society. The group is for dads and boys (age 6-15). The group will go on camp outs once a quarter and the focus will be on outdoor skills and camaraderie. The organization is named after Davy Crockett, a great frontiersman and statesman.

I'd like to be able to put the logo on a hat or a patch for a shirt, so its ability to be embroidered is important. That being said, I'd like have something that looks good on a letter head as well. Simple and sharp.

  1-Simple design with minimum two colors. 2-First shape starting from the left represents a lowercase "d". Second shape represents lowercase "c". Third shape represents lowercase "s". First, second and third collectively form "DCs". The logo as a whole is pictorially a lowercase "d". 3-The logo, which is in the middle also symbolizing fire, indicating outdoor activities. 4-Short form DCS is also present. 5-Colors of Davy Crockett's Cap.
